In February 2020, the RNZN and DST signed a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to deliver critical scientific support for the upgraded Anzac frigates. That partnership has played a key role in helping the RNZN realise the full value of its investment in capability.
Building on the success of the first agreement, we’re proud to announce the renewal of the SLA for a second five-year term.
This renewed agreement reflects a deep and mutual commitment. It includes continued support through funding, personnel, enablers, and trials, and highlights the enduring value DST provides to RNZN operations. Through this collaboration, the RNZN ensures it remains supported by enduring scientific research, directly enhancing its combat capability and safeguarding its sailors.
